Mushroom Masala

Mushrooms are the only fruit or vegetable with natural vitamin D. With vitamin D deficiency on the rise, eating fresh mushrooms is one way to add more D to your diet.

September is National Mushroom Month, a time to commemorate mushrooms and everything they do to keep us happy and healthy. These are a hearty and fulfilling meat replacement. Save on calories and fat without sacrificing flavor.I read all this info on net so thought of rediscovering  them and  So i am gonna try some new recipes with Mushroom and i really like the stuffed mushroom recipe ,gonna try it soon and give you the update.I have another recipe in my kitty Mushroom Peas fry which is a curried version of it and this one here can be used as a side with any curry.

  2. Now add the onions, fry them untill they r light brown. Add salt as required.
  3. Then add the chopped Mushroom and fry them on medium -High heat.
  4.  Add the spices to it and mix well.
  5. Add the tomatoes when mushrooms are cooked and saute for 1 min , cover the pan and switch off the flame the tomatoes will get cooked in the heat and squeeze in the lemon.
