Cheesy Peas (Matar Paneer) in 10 Min

My mom used to make it for me when there is something made at home which i don't feel like eating like ghiya  tori, or karela.But now times have changed i have started liking all  the veggies but paneer still tops the list.Its a very fast to make  and yummy to eat recipe and love the color of the gravy.

  • 1 cup Paneer Cubed (i have used homemade)
  • 1 cup Peas 
  • 3 tomatoes pureed
  • 1tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 tsp chill powder
  • 1tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbs kasoori methi
  • 1/2 cup water
  • salt to taste
  1. Heat Oil in a pan ,add asfoetida  and cumin seeds  to it.
  2. Now add the tomato puree and add the spices, let it cook till the oil seperates .
  3. Add cubed Paneer and Peas to it and 1/2 cup water ,simmer for further 2 minutes.
  4. Now rub the  kasoori methi  in your palms for the added flavor add to it and you r done.
Tip: You can also try adding 1/4 cup  milk to it and simmer for 2 min, and the taste doubles.
