One of the tried and tested recipe for the kids, learned from one of my good friend.She taught me this as my kid is a very picky eater and i tried out this with her .It really works and is a very healthy meal too.Give it a shot i hope it works for your kid too.
Ingredients:
1 Whole large egg
1 Slice Cheese/Shredded cheese
Black pepper
Salt to taste
Butter/Ghee
Method:
- Beat egg in a bowl until yolks and whites are well mixed, add salt to it.
- Heat butter/ghee in a skillet over medium-high heat until butter is hot and sizzling. As butter melts, tilt skillet to coat bottom with butter.
- Now pour the egg into skillet. When one side is cooked flip it over to other side with the help of spatula.When it is cooked, let stand over heat for few seconds to lightly brown the bottom of omelette add little pepper to it . Do not overcook... as kids would like to eat it soft.
- Keep a slice of cheese in the omelette or sprinke shredded cheese on half side and turn the other half over it
- Your kids gonna love it and if there is some left just try it.
This simple recipe can be made more interesting by adding veggies too.
